If you're running hot water—a car wash hot water bay, a boiler room holding tank, a cooling tower, or any system where water temperature exceeds what a standard float valve can handle—the Topaz Industro is the one Jobe valve built for the job. Standard Topaz and Rojo valves are only rated to 140°F (60°C); using them on hotter water is a common cause of the sticking, dripping, and equipment-room flooding failures reported by car wash operators. The Topaz Industro is rated to a genuine 176°F (80°C), making it the correct choice whenever your application runs hot.

The Topaz Industro is a high-flow, float-operated valve engineered to maintain water levels in applications that call for extra mechanical strength and heat resistance—car wash hot water systems, cooling towers, storage tanks, high-pressure cleaning systems, and light industrial, air conditioning, or irrigation installations. The key difference from the standard Topaz is the materials: the Industro is built to withstand higher temperatures, making it the right choice when your application runs hotter than a standard valve can handle. It's configured for above or below water mounting, with the float operating a small pilot valve that in turn drives the main diaphragm.

Long Tail vs. Short Tail
The key difference is the amount of thread available to attach to your plumbing—short tail valves do not include a backing nut and seal washer.

Match your valve's inlet size to your supply plumbing—your flow rate will always be limited by the smallest pipe in the system.
