Jobe Valves Topaz Float Valve - Resilient Construction, 50 GPM Performance.
Jobe Valves Topaz Float Valve - Resilient Construction, 50 GPM Performance.
The Topaz float operated valve is a market leader in performance. With its resilient construction it becomes a key player in all your automated water moving needs. With up to 50 GPM performance your tanks and troughs will be filled in no time. Easy setup and serviceability are benchmarks in the design of the Topaz Float Valve. Whether it's on the farm or at the factory, Jobe Valves has the right solution for you.
Topaz float valves are float operated valves for use in automatic filling of water troughs, tanks, cisterns etc. The valve is configured for above or below water mounting. The float operates a small pilot valve which in turn operates the main diaphragm valve. Topaz float valves are a good choice where their high flow, compact, robust, non corrosive construction and high level of adaptability are needed
The Jobe Valves Topaz float valve is a reliable and versatile tool designed for automatic water level control in various applications.
Key features:
-
Float-Operated Mechanism: The valve utilizes a float to sense water levels. As the water rises, the float ascends, triggering the valve to close. When water levels drop, the float descends, allowing the valve to open and refill the tank or trough.
-
Adjustable Water Level: The Topaz valve's float can be adjusted to set the desired water level. The float adjusts easily without the use of tools. This flexibility makes it suitable for different applications and preferences.
-
Durability and Corrosion Resistance: Constructed from durable materials, the Topaz float valve is resistant to corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance in various environments.
- High Flow Rate: The Topaz float valve is designed to handle high flow rates, making it efficient for filling large tanks or troughs quickly.
Common Applications Include Maintaining Water Levels in:
• Animal Drinking Troughs
• Water Storage Tanks
• Water Cisterns
• Air Conditioning Systems
• High Pressure Cleaning Systems
• Irrigation Applications
Long Tail VS Short Tail:
The Key Difference between long and short tail is the amount of thread available to attach to your plumbing. Another important distinction is that short tail valves do not include a backing nut and seal washer. For more information please review this post.
Selecting the right inlet size:
Selecting the right size inlet is very important to the performance of your Jobe Valves Topaz float valve. The inlet of the float valve should match your supply plumbing. For instance if your supply plumbing is 3/4" you will get no better performance from a 1" valve. Your flow rate will always be limited by the smallest pipe. Always match your Topaz float valve inlet size to your water supply pipe size. If you intend on upgrading your water supply plumbing at some point you can always purchase a different Detach tail.
