Which Jobe Service Kit Do You Actually Need?

Every Jobe float valve is field-serviceable, but "get a service kit" isn't quite specific enough — the right kit depends on exactly which valve you're running, not just which product line.

Rojo Standard and High-Flow/Low-Pressure

The Rojo Standard kit (RJP3A) and the Rojo HF/LP kit (RJP3B) are sold as separate SKUs, but the internals are interchangeable between standard and high-flow/low-pressure Rojo valves. If you're not sure which configuration you're running, either kit will service it — both run $13.99.

Rojo Compact

This is the one real exception in the Rojo line. The Rojo Compact kit (RJPC3, $13.99) uses a distinct inner cartridge sized for the Compact valve's smaller body — it doesn't share parts with standard or HF/LP Rojo. If your valve is the Compact model, this is the one to order.

Topaz and Megaflow

One shared kit covers both lines. The Topaz/Megaflow kit (TPP3/MFP3, $21.99) works across both valve families, since they use compatible internal components despite being built for different mounting environments — Topaz for above- or below-water flexibility, Megaflow for underwater-only livestock installs.

Vortex

Vortex runs its own dedicated kit. The Vortex Service Kit (VXP3) is priced higher than the rest at $97.99, reflecting the more robust, industrial-duty internal components built for continuous high-flow service — not interchangeable with any other line's kit.

The Real Point Here

Across the whole lineup, Rojo Compact is the one place where ordering by "just Rojo" actually gets you the wrong kit. Everything else in the Rojo line is covered by either Rojo kit interchangeably, and Topaz/Megaflow share a kit outright. Vortex is always its own thing. Check which specific model you're running before ordering — it saves a return and a second wait on parts.
